Hi. I'm an independent journalist, photographer, and communications professional based in Atlanta, GA.
My writing and photography on public health, development and environmental conservation has appeared in The New York Times, National Geographic, NPR, Newsweek, Businessweek, Foreign Policy, The Atlantic and The Daily Beast among other leading outlets.
In addition to my work as a journalist, I've produced communications materials for a variety of institutions, including the World Health Organization, Doctors Without Borders, USAID, RTI, the Task Force for Global Health, the Carter Center, and the CDC.
I hold a BA from Duke University and an MPH from the Rollins School of Public Health at Emory University.
